After renaming Elasto and Müller Kunststoffe sites to HEXPOL TPE, this TPE compounding group announced the establishment of a production and development unit in North America on 12th of December. The new TPE facilities have been installed at HEXPOL’s RheTech Colors plant in Sandusky, Ohio, and the products will be placed on the market under the HEXPOL TPE name. General manager Craig Dunaway at RheTech Colors and HEXPOL TPE in North America said, “We are working with many global customers that we already supply from the HEXPOL TPE operations in Europe and China. Now we also can provide the local supply and support in North America.” HEXPOL TPE said, the North American operation will firstly concentrate on the Dryflex family of TPE compounds that have been developed to make products soft-touch and applied in various industries such as automotive, industrial, packaging, and construction.
